When curls stretch out and stop coiling
Lightening, dyeing, heat, summer sun, and sea water damage the hair. As a result, curls stretch out and lose their shape, the hair looks coarse or hopelessly limp, and the ends start to frizz. A moisturizing mask alone will not solve this, because the hair lacks not just moisture, but also protein.
Bond Curl Rehab Salve is a protein-enriched treatment used before shampooing. Left on for 15 to 30 minutes, it helps improve the appearance of the hair fiber and provides elasticity and a feeling of stronger hair. It contains extracts of guava, kale, shiitake mushroom, and prickly pear, as well as chia seeds and sweet almond oil.
Sulphate-free. Silicone-free. Suitable for vegans.
When you need it
How it differs from a moisturizing mask
A moisturizing mask is applied after washing and works on moisture. Bond Curl Rehab Salve is applied before washing, on damp, unwashed hair. They do not replace each other; they work together: first, you take care of the hair's strength, then you moisturize it.
Who it is for
For all curl types, waves, and even straight hair. Especially for weaker or damaged-looking curly hair. Suitable for any hair texture. Frequency of use depends on hair porosity; see the "Usage" section.

A versatile, protein-enriched conditioner that can be used as a rinse-out conditioner, a deep conditioner, or a leave-in moisturizer.
If you struggle to understand how much protein your hair needs, this conditioner is for you. Curlsmith has created a multifunctional, lightweight conditioner with moisture-boosting ingredients, so it can act as a rinse-out conditioner, intense conditioner, or leave-in conditioner depending on how you use it. It also contains protein, which helps provide a feeling of stronger hair and helps reduce the sensation of breakage, making it a great choice to experiment and help you find the right balance of protein and moisture.
Who it is for
All curl types, and even straight hair! Particularly beneficial for weak, damaged hair. Suitable for any hair texture. Recommended for people with medium to high porosity hair, and can also be used on low porosity hair due to its low protein content.

A protein-rich mist that helps reduce the visible effects of external factors: e.g., exposure to heat, UV rays, seawater, or chlorine.
Naturally curly hair is more fragile and vulnerable, so it is essential to protect it. This mist helps provide protection against various external factors:
- helps reduce the visible effects of heat
- seawater, chlorine, and environmental pollution
- breakage from brushing and styling
- helps reduce the visible effects of UV rays
This mist is also enriched with proteins to make hair look stronger and more elastic.
Who it's for
For all types of curls! Suitable for hair of any texture or porosity. Especially beneficial for weak or damaged hair.

A gentle, protein-enriched shampoo that helps remove dirt and product buildup, leaving hair looking stronger and more resilient.
Curly hair needs gentle cleansers that don't strip away natural oils, but not all hair types enjoy co-washing. If your hair is fine or oily, using a co-wash can weigh it down and make it look flat. If you are looking for a gentle shampoo, we recommend Curlsmith Core Strength Shampoo! This foaming shampoo acts like a traditional shampoo but contains much milder ingredients that help maintain a feeling of moisture, making it suitable for frequent washing and helping to preserve the look of color-treated hair. It contains proteins that help provide a stronger appearance and help reduce the visibility of breakage.
Who is it for?
All curl types and even straight hair! Especially beneficial for weak, damaged hair. Suitable for any hair texture. Recommended for those with medium to high porosity hair; it can also be used on low-porosity hair as it contains a low level of protein.

This protein cream is the perfect product when you want a very light hold. The cream’s formula, which features gel-forming technology, provides flexibility and defines curls with a light hold without creating a "cast" effect, making various curl types look more elastic. The cream can be used as a standalone styling step immediately after washing. However, if you want to create a custom routine, it can be combined with other Curlsmith products. If your hair is particularly dry, use your favorite leave-in conditioner before the cream. If you want extra hold, use your favorite gel after the cream.
Who it is for
For all curl types! Especially beneficial for weak, damaged hair. Suitable for any hair texture. Highly recommended for medium to high porosity curls.

An intense protein mask designed to restore curls damaged by heat, coloring, or chemical treatments. Intense Protein Mask (Deep Conditioner) combines three hydrolyzed proteins and ten nourishing ingredients that strengthen the hair structure, restoring elasticity and bounce. Weak, brittle, overworked curls become strong and vibrant again.
Why damaged curls need protein
Hair is composed of keratin, a protein structure that provides strength and elasticity. Heat, coloring, and chemical treatments break down this structure, so hydration alone is not enough. Hydrolyzed proteins penetrate the hair and fill in damage from within.
Benefits
Key Ingredients
Hydrolyzed wheat protein penetrates deeply to fill in hair damage. Hydrolyzed starch protein forms a protective film and reduces frizz. Oat protein strengthens and adds softness. Additionally: matcha tea extract, shea and cocoa butters, avocado, jojoba, sunflower and almond oils, flaxseed and marshmallow root extracts, vitamin E.
When to choose a protein mask versus a moisturizing mask
Choose a protein mask when your hair feels gummy or overly stretchy when wet, your curls have lost their pattern, your hair is breaking, or it has recently been bleached, dyed, or straightened. If your hair only lacks moisture, choose the Intense Moisture Mask (protein-free).
Free from sulfates, silicones, parabens, drying alcohols, and mineral oils. CGM-friendly | Vegan, cruelty-free | Made in the Netherlands
Who it is for
Heat-damaged, colored, bleached, or chemically straightened hair. Also for high-porosity hair that has lost elasticity, and for curls that feel gummy or overly stretchy when wet. Suitable for all curl types (2A–4C).

Intensive 5-minute restorative mask with Bond Builders and rosemary. PCG-5 Bond Building Hair Mask strengthens hair, increases elasticity, and helps repair damaged internal bonds – leaving curls stronger, smoother, and more resistant to breakage.
Benefits
What are Bond Builders
These are amino acids and peptides (soy and wheat amino acids, arginine, serine, threonine) that penetrate the hair shaft and help "repair" bonds damaged by chemical treatments, heat, or mechanical stress. Unlike surface-level products, they work within the hair structure.
Important: this mask contains soy and wheat amino acids, so it is not protein-free. If your curls are sensitive to protein, choose a moisturizing mask without it.
PCG-5 Routine
1. Clarifying Shampoo → 2. Gentle Shampoo → 3. Bond Building Hair Mask (this product) → 4. Curl Repair Leave-in → 5. Peptide Flaxseed Gel
Salon line | Made in the Netherlands
Who it is for
For curls damaged by heat, coloring, or chemical processes that are prone to breakage and have lost elasticity. Suitable for all curl types (2A–4C).
Attention: contains soy and wheat amino acids, therefore the product is not protein-free. Not suitable if hair is sensitive to protein.

Benefits
How it differs from the classic Rose Water Refresh Spray

Especially suitable for fine hair.
