Medium-hold styling gel for wavy, curly, and coily hair, designed to help curls clump into defined, unified strands and enhance their shape.

The formula is based on chia seed extract, flaxseed, and three moisture-locking polymers. This thick, moisture-rich formula helps reduce frizz in humid conditions, providing long-lasting definition with a flexible, touchable result, while helping curls stay hydrated.

Why you’ll love it

• Helps curls clump into defined, unified strands
• Thick texture provides control and definition without weighing hair down when used as directed
• Medium hold without the crunch – the result remains flexible and touchable
• Instrumental testing showed reduced frizz compared to untreated hair for up to 72 hours at 80% relative humidity
• Suitable for wavy, curly, and coily hair

Key ingredients:

Chia seed extract – rich in polysaccharides; when hydrated, it forms a film, often used to support texture and curl clumping. Flaxseed – a natural mucilaginous substance provides the gel texture, helps with even distribution, and adds flexibility during styling. 3 moisture-locking polymers – film-forming agents that help manage how hair reacts to environmental humidity. Pea peptide – small molecular weight protein fragments that provide a light conditioning feel. Brown seaweed – rich in polysaccharides and minerals, it facilitates distribution and provides slip to the formula.

Think Dirty rating: 0–1 risk level. Vegan formula, cruelty-free, color-safe. Packaging made from 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic.

Who it’s for

Texture: fine, medium, coarse

Hair type: wavy, curly, coily

Concerns: frizz, lost shape, lack of medium hold, difficulty maintaining hairstyles, humidity-induced puffiness, curls needing long-lasting control without stiffness

Weightless volume and definition in one product. Flaxseed Styling Foam – lightweight flaxseed foam that gives curls volume, flexibility, and shape without the weight or crunch of a gel. Limp, flat curls become bouncy and full of life.

Why foam instead of gel?

The airy, mousse-like texture distributes evenly throughout the hair, coating every strand with just the right amount needed for definition – without the heaviness of creams or gels. The foam lifts at the roots, enhances curl pattern throughout the entire length, and maintains shape all day long.

Benefits

• Weightless volume – full, bouncy curls without weighing them down
• Controls frizz and smooths the hair surface
• Flexible hold with natural movement
• Healthy shine and long-lasting definition
• Protein-free – suitable for protein-sensitive hair

Key Ingredients

Flaxseed Extract – omega-3 fatty acids and natural mucilage that conditions, strengthens, and provides flexible hold. Marshmallow Root Extract softens, provides slip, and makes styling easier.

Foam or gel – which one to choose?

Choose foam if you want lightweight volume, have fine to medium hair, or prefer a softer, more natural result. Choose Magical Flaxseed Gel if you need stronger hold, have thick hair, or want your hairstyle to last for several days. You can also layer: foam for volume, gel on top for hold.

Free from sulfates, silicones, parabens, drying alcohols, mineral oils, and proteins. CGM-friendly | Vegan | Made in the Netherlands

For whom

For type 2 wavy and type 3 curly hair that needs volume and definition. Especially suitable for fine and medium-textured hair that is weighed down by heavy products, as well as protein-sensitive hair.

The perfect balance between hold and movement. Flexible Hold Gel defines curls without stiffness or crunch – instead of a hard shell, it forms a light, flexible layer that allows curls to move and bounce naturally. Hair remains soft and pleasant to the touch all day long.

Benefits

• Medium, flexible hold without stiffness
• Natural movement – curls bounce with every step
• Controls frizz and protects against humidity
• Beautiful curl separation and definition
• Lightweight formula – does not weigh hair down, non-sticky

The secret to flexible hold

As it dries, the gel forms a light, flexible film around each curl. Unlike strong-hold gels, it allows the hair to move while maintaining the structure needed for definition. After scrunching once dry, you are left with soft, defined curls that do not look stiff.

Free from sulfates, silicones, parabens, drying alcohols, and mineral oils. CGM friendly | Vegan, cruelty-free | Made in the Netherlands

Who it's for

Anyone who avoids gels because of the crunchy effect. Suitable for type 2 waves that need definition without being weighed down, type 3 curls looking for a soft hold, and type 4 curls when layered over cream. A perfect choice for those transitioning from strong-hold gels.

• Bond Builders strengthen and protect the hair during styling
• Rosemary oil nourishes and protects
